Over the last 25 years, I have worked on 3 block buster Marvel movies and over 30 video games, 8 of which charted in the No1 slot. I have worked with huge IP creators like J.K Rowling, Warner Bros, Sony and Microsoft to name just a few.
I have always been passionate about entertainment and digital experiences and even worked on an award-winning coffee machine.
What these projects have in common is that they are all the best in their field.
I challenge myself and others to push boundaries and deliver above expectations, to grow ourselves and the field we work in.
I've played a key part in the running of several businesses over the years, as well as founding visual design studio, Atomhawk. Formed in the 2009 recession, I built it up from a team of 4, to an international leading brand with studios in the UK and Canada. The business won 8 awards under my stewardship.
In 2017, I negotiated the acquisition of Atomhawk by Sumo Digital and joined their board. Later that year we floated the combined group on AIM as Sumo Group PLC. I exited in April 2019 and now work as an NED to Steamforged Games, Chairman to SockMonkey Studios and Big Thursday Creative.
LEADERSHIP
I have led a wide range of teams, from proof of concept to large development projects spread across global locations. As a start-up founder to mature business CEO, I wore every hat in the organisation, doing what was needed to grow into a mature business: from creative direction, production, finance, client services, business development. to finally maturing the business and focusing on building great leadership teams, solid processes and growth.
My passion is in growing people, inspiring creativity, building client relationships and business strategy.
I've built studios in the UK and Canada.
