Blanchland In Spring is a study in oils depicting the path that runs over the top of the hills in the Northumberland village of Blanchland. It is a favourite walk of my family’s and mine and I tried to capture the joy of experiencing the location together on a crisp yet sunny February morning as the breeze catches the “happy” trees.
