Stanage Edge 2 is an “alla prima” study, using mainly pallet knife to apply paint wet on wet. The painting focusses on capturing the vast space and shifting colours of the Peak District terrain where Stanage Edge is situated and where I spent much of my teenage years roaming.
An original oil painting on Arches paper, 41cm x 31cm with a satin wax protective coating. mounted in a Grey frame with a 55mm bezel and Plexiglass to protect from UV.
