Eilean Donan Castle is a romanticised depiction of the famous thirteenth century Scottish landmark which captured my imagination on a visit to the Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye. The mountains and castle bathe in the warm glow of the sun with contrasting cool blues into purples forming a dramatic background.
