Stanage Edge 1 is from my series of paintings based on Northern landscapes. Situated north of Hathersage in the Peak District with stunning views across the Dark Peak moorlands, it is a place I spent much of my teenage years roaming. I created a vivid depiction of Stanage Edge at sunset.
An original oil painting on board, 50cm x 50cm with a satin protective coating. mounted in a Black frame with a 70mm bezel.
